Litters are AKC registered and all pet puppies and retired adults are placed on spay/neuter non-breeding contract.
AKC papers are mailed when I receive proof of spay/neuter.

Shelties are very loyal companions. They prefer the company of their humans above all else. They need moderate daily exercise/play and should be brushed weekly to maintain a beautiful healthy coat. With routine grooming done at home (brushing the coat, trimming nails, brushing their teeth) they stay quite clean and fresh and require infrequent bathing. Shelties make great couch potatoes but they also excel in obedience and agility! Shelties do have the reputation of barking alot so that is something to consider. All in all the Sheltie is a very sweet and intelligent breed and with proper care and quality nutrition a sheltie can live a long and happy life.
